The Premier League winners are reportedly closing in on a deal for the Aston Villa and England midfielder that could be worth up to £100 million, according to various sources this week.
"Manchester City are currently in direct touch
with Aston Villa for Jack Grealish, and negotiations are ongoing to reach an
agreement - not going to take long, and a decision will be taken in the coming
days," says transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
"Grealish has already been offered a new
contract by Aston Villa. They are hoping to keep him on the team."
However, some old tweets from many years ago have
been uncovered, indicating that he has always favoured Manchester's red side...

In response to the announcement of the potentially
record-breaking England move, many supporters have taken to social media.
The messages have already been removed from Grealish's
Twitter account, which has Manchester City fans delighted it may
indicate that one can assume the deal is going to happen.
In order to retain Grealish at the club, Aston
Villa have reportedly offered him a hefty new contract.
