Cristiano Ronaldo Is 'Odds-On' To Sign Manchester City After Having To Agree Personal Terms

Bookies have reduced the chances on Cristiano Ronaldo making a spectacular back to the Premier League during the summer transfer window, suggesting that they understand it is a near certainty.

The Five-Time Ballon d'or winner has been the focus of strong transfer news this 2021, with the Portuguese superstar apparently bored with his lifestyle at Juventus.

The Spanish newspaper AS revealed, the Manchester United star has finalised personal deal with Premier League champions Manchester City. Yes, you heard correctly.

Although having fit and ready at the weekend, Cristiano allegedly declined to play in Juve's Serie A match vs Udinese.

The renowned French magazine L'Equipe alleged that the 36-years-old legend was offered to Manchester City by his renowned agent Jorge Mendes.

To the surprise, heartbreak, and rage of Manchester United fans, Ronaldo has apparently spoken with Pep Guardiola regarding his position in City's team.

Individual arrangements are also said to have been accepted in principle, with  five-time Ballon d’Or winner earning more than £250,000 per week if the deal goes through.

According to reports, Mendes looked PSG as another prospective destination, and Ronaldo was attracted in what must have been an amazing collaboration with Lionel Messi.

The Ligue 1 titans, on the other hand, were reluctant to move forward, opening the way for Ronaldo's sensational transfer to the blue side of Manchester. Aside from Jack Grealish, City's considered dealing this summer was Harry Kane, with Guardiola a major fan of the England captain.

However, with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy refusing to Negotiate, Harry confirmed that he would remain in north London.

As a result, the club has rapidly turned to Ronaldo, with an attacker being a vital area of need after the departure of Sergio Aguero to Barcelona at the close of previous season.

City were a startling 16/1 last week to acquire Ronaldo, but such chances have now been reduced to only 1/8. The bookies are definitely certain it will happen, and we wouldn't want to gamble against them. Is the Manchester rivalry set to have a much spicier?
