With only 5 minutes played, Mohamed Salah ripped open the Manchester defence line with a pass for Keita to break the stalemate, before Jota slid in a Trent Alexander-Arnold pass after some hesitancy at the defense from Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw.

Mohamed Salah then stepped in on the act, scoring a 3rd goal during the 39th minute with a competitive race and be the first Liverpool star to score in 3 consecutive games at Old Trafford. He subsequently scored his 2nd goal, as well as the Reds' fourth, in first-half halftime.
