Jurgen Klopp Is Named A "Numpty" After Remarks On Liverpool's Postponement

Jurgen Klopp is definitely not a fan of the frantic festival fixture schedule, with teams often having to play 2 games in 3 days at the years end.

The Liverpool manager is a very well skeptic of cramming quite so many games between Christmas and New Year's Day, but his remarks have enraged 2 well-known media pundits.

On talkSPORT, Ally McCoist and Alan Brazil debated the German's statements, and both believed that he has one of the greatest teams to deal with such a difficult schedule.

The word you're forgetting, Jurgen, is 'tradition,' Brazil remarked. Stop tinkering with it, you numpty!

With the advantages of the team he has and the size he has..... for God's sake.

I understand what he's telling, McCoist continued, and we have been doing it for long. It's an inextricable aspect of British football culture.

[It's exactly what we do. Just to get on with it].

I am sure he would desire another 24 hours, and his physio and medical team will say things, and surely they'll. However, in context of the club he has, he is in a better position than anyone else.

I am following what he's saying. Tradition, on the other hand, is unbeatable. During the festive season, old British football is played. Games are flying at us from all sides. It's unbeatable.

Klopp achieved his desire not to play two matches in 3 days, but not in the way he wanted, after a Covid-19 spread at Leeds United forced the Reds to postpone their Boxing Day match against Marcelo Bielsa's team.

It's one of 2 Boxing Day clashes that have been postponed, with the match against Watford and Wolves also being decided to postpone because of several of positive outcomes among Hornets performers.

Liverpool's upcoming scheduled game is against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.
