Mo Salah's best friend Dejan Lovren claims the Egypt international would have made FIFA's 'Best' World 11 if he had a European passport.
The Liverpool star is undoubtedly the world's best player right now, but he was snubbed over by football's ruling authority on Monday evening.
Salah finished 3rd in the Best Men's Player voting, trailing Lionel Messi and champion Robert Lewandowski, although he was left out of 'The Best' World XI.
Salah's previous teammate Lovren expressed his dissatisfaction on Twitter, writing: "There is no room in the Fifapro world11 for @MoSalah? More!!"

In 2019, the two won the Champions League, then in 2020, they won Liverpool's 1st Premier League award.
Lovren has recently joined Zenit in Russia and continues to touch with Salah.
He went on to say: "People who are familiar with football know that he is deserving of a spot. What must be done in order to get there? Perhaps a European passport is in order "along by a shrugging emoji.

Salah was unable to beat Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lewandowski, and Erling Haaland. Despite winning the Champions League with Chelsea, Edouard Mendy was nominated FIFA best Goalkeeper of the Year, however he did not make the squad.
Gianluigi Donnarumma, who crowned Euro 2020 with Italy last season, defeated the Senegal international to the place.
Mohamed Salah is presently captaining Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations, where the team is 2nd in Group D, trailing Nigeria.
It ensures he is unavailable for Liverpool, as is Sadio Mane, who is on international duty with Senegal.
When questioned if their absence, as well as that of Naby Keita, will affect the Reds' style of play, boss Jurgen Klopp answered, "In football, you can become the stronger team and win games, or you can be the superior side and miss a football match."
You can earn a football match with a plan, or you can win a football game without one. Everything is achievable.
When the 3 boys are not present, whoever plays will have a strategy and offer us an opportunity to win a football match.
May we play football in the same way? Who cares if it's true or not. That is the reality. We play the football as we are capable of playing.
Liverpool are 2nd in the Premier League after a 3-0 victory against Brentford in their last match.
