Three Seasoned Man Utd Players Are Concerned About Cristiano Ronaldo's Undroppable Status

Manchester United's woes have increased in the aftermath of Monday's humiliating defeat at the hands of Wolves.

After a 1-0 setback at Old Trafford, Ralf Rangnick's squad lost ground in the contest for Champions League football.

According to sources, the Red Devils are still four points away of the top four, and there is lot of distrust within the team.

According to the Daily Express,  Mason Greenwood, Harry Maguire, and Edinson Cavani are worried about Cristiano Ronaldo's undroppable standing and his impact on their own responsibilities in the club.

Ronaldo was designated captain against Wolves as Maguire was left out due to injury, but the five-time ballon d'or winner was criticised for his attitude in the defeat.

As per the source, a few other players in the United team, including Bruno Fernandes,  Alex Telles,  Fred, and Diogo Dalot, are concerned about Ronaldo's influence among his international teammates and other Portuguese-speaking footballers in the club.

It comes as former United player Gary Neville indicated that cliques are emerging in the Old Trafford changing room.

On Manchester Utd, I'm seeing allegations of dressing room displeasure this morning," Neville commented following United's 1-1 draw with Newcastle in December.

Something wasn't good against Norwich, and it surely wasn't right against Newcastle. Despite this, 4 points from the games is not a bad outcome given the performance levels to the team.

With interim coach Ralf Rangnick, who has apparently failed to convince the team since his arrival at Old Trafford, a growing number of players are thought to feel marginalised.

"That's not fine," a source said The Daily Mirror. The atmosphere is extremely negative, and it appears like United will face significant difficulties in the future."

"I didn't like the fact that we were all there together." "We seemed as if we were struggling," Shaw explained.

I do not even think you're supposed to place it on that - "the new manager". We've been around for a lengthy moment.

[Just Look at our team, and you'll see that we have incredible talent. But, Quality isn't always enough].
