Chelsea Star 'Wants' Petition Calling for Anthony Taylor's Suspension

Marcos Alonso, a Chelsea left-back, has started a petition asking for umpire Anthony Taylor to be suspended from the games.

Taylor had been in the midst for Chelsea's 1-1 tie with Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday. He contentiously knocked Reece James after first half.

James used his arm to stop Sadio Mane's drive on the mark, and while the offense was not subsequently reprimanded, Taylor turned to the VAR display and declared the right-back would have to be removed.

Mo Salah equalized from the penalty spot, and the points were swapped on Merseyside. However, Chelsea lovers were upset by the verdict, and over 70,000 followers have submitted a petition demanding that Taylor no longer umpires because they believe he really does have a "serious agenda" towards club.

The protest's statement states, "It's really clear that this guy has a serious agenda towards the Chelsea Club." "For instance, he has sent players off for no cause, jeopardizing our outcomes."

We are convinced that it must be addressed and Anthony might be prohibited from refereeing Chelsea matches.

Alonso, who took part in the draw, loved a comment from a follower profile reporting on the petition, indicating that he had been not satisfied with the decision.

Manager Thomas Tuchel thought the VAR assessment was too hasty, based solely on a single picture, and that Taylor didn't make the right choice.

I'm not sure what's happening and what doesn't happen anymore. At the end of match, Tuchel said Sky News, We were quite a little anxious that he was only see at a picture and the picture provided a comprehensive outcome as a red card with a penalty.

That was too fast for myself; I would've have preferred a deeper evaluation and the ability to examine the entire issue, including where it had been deflected.

I can recall umpires telling us that if its a deflection and not an unusual arm position, it isn't a penalty.
