Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez baited Cristiano Ronaldo to take Manchester United's 92nd-minute penalty kick at Old Trafford.
Kortney Hause gave away a penalty after handling an Aaron Wan-Bissaka cross just minutes after scoring for the visitors.
Martinez, brimming with confidence, pointed to Ronaldo and exclaimed, "You take it!" to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Although having an excellent record from 12 yards for both club and country, Cristiano did not take the initiative.

Absolutely love the fact that Emiliano Martinez always finds a way to bring his penalty shithousery into the mix, just like in Copa América against Colombia.

Here, he’s seen gesturing towards CR7 to take it when Bruno had the ball in hand. Love it 😂 pic.twitter.com/qV1IHf45vc
Instead, United's normal penalty taker Bruno Fernandes took over, and Martinez spewed his usual venom.
Fernandes startled everyone by shooting the ball over the bar and into the Stretford End, which is not his normal approach.
Martinez turned around and performed a humping dance in front of the Manchester fans after Fernandes dropped the target for the first time in his career.

Martinez and Villa kept a significant clean sheet and success, but we have a feeling Ronaldo will take the next penalty United is assigned.
Martinez, a former Arsenal goalkeeper, has established a reputation for being a major s**thouse when it goes to penalties.

Martinez's trash-talking went into Yerry Mina's head during the Copa America semi-final penalty kick against Colombia in July.
"You're worried, aren't you?" Martinez stated his case.
"I can tell you're worried.
I've figured out where you're going to shoot. Take a look at how I'm going to eat you up."
Martinez's penalty save against Mina was among three that helped Argentina advance to the finale against Brazil, which they beat 1-0 to capture the trophy.
