Jurgen Klopp Has Urged Liverpool To Secure A Double Signing In January



Jurgen Klopp has urged Liverpool to make a dual swoop for Real Madrid's Luka Jovic and Leicester City's Harvey Barnes.

Klopp has a fantastic striking quartet in Mo Salah,  Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, and Diogo Jota, who have all contributed goals and assists.
The former three, however, are not getting any younger, with an age range of 29, and Klopp, along with sporting director Michael Edwards, are trying to find new possibilities in the future.

Many players have been examined, however Barnes and Jovic have been recognized as 2 important targets, Fichajes said.

Barnes, 23, has made significant steps for Leicester recently, and his good form has contributed to his getting his England debut versus Wales in October 2020.

During February, injury cut short a good 2020/21 campaign and eliminated any chances of qualifying Gareth Southgate's Euro 2020 team.

Barnes, on the other hand, has restored to fitness for the new series and has positioned himself as one of Leicester's major offensive threats.

When addressing Barnes ahead to a 3-1 loss in which the winger scored last term, Klopp said that he is a great fan of him.

Barnes is undoubtedly one of the most talented players in the league; I'm not convinced if he is loved or appreciated as much as he ought to be; to be frank, he is an incredible player and a real Leicester product," Klopp stated at a press conference.

Jovic, on the other hand, was in high demand after scoring 27 goals in 48 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt, and he chose to sign for Real Madrid in a rumoured €60 million transfer.

Nevertheless, he has only net twice for Los Blancos and was backed to Frankfurt on loan past season.

Despite struggling at Madrid and trying to obtain first-team opportunities, the 23-year-old is thought to be eager to go on.
