Trevor Sinclair has stated that he would rather see Manchester City to buy Tammy Abraham, an out-of-favor Chelsea forward, for £40 million this summer than Harry Kane.
After allowing Sergio Aguero to join Barcelona on a free transfer, City are looking for a new frontman.
Kane is rumoured to want to leave Tottenham Hotspur in quest of trophies, but he has a £150 million price tag attached to him.
Sinclair thinks that's too much, and he'd rather take a chance on Abraham for £110 million less.
Despite being their equal top scorer last season, the 23-year-old isn't in Thomas Tuchel's plans at Stamford Bridge.
"I would, definitely," Sinclair said when asked if he would sign Abraham over Kane.
He had a successful season with Aston Villa before returning to Chelsea and performing admirably.
He's a handful because of his speed and his desire to push the lines. He's also a finisher." No player is perfect, especially at the age of 22 or 23, but Tammy has made a lot of progress."
I'd be really eager to see him play for Manchester City."

Abraham's current situation makes a transfer unlikely, according to Sinclair, with Arsenal and West Ham United being linked.
"It simply goes against my values and what I think about the club," he stated concerning Kane's price tag. To be honest, it does.
"Simply, I don't want to see the team spend that much money on a single player. Thus ends our conversation. Most likely, it's better for you to go now."
According to a report in the Sun last week, had given Kane the go-ahead to join City.
Manchester United paid £89 million for Paul Pogba to join them from Juventus in 2016. Any deal involving the England captain will surpass that British transfer record.
In addition, the 28-year-old would almost certainly become the league's highest earner.
Who should Manchester City sign this summer, in your opinion?
