Cristiano Ronaldo Wants To Leave Juventus, Return To Real Madrid Could Be On The Cards

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly interested in leaving Juventus and returning to Real Madrid or joining Paris Saint-Germain.

After taking a break following his participation in Euro 2020, Ronaldo resumed to pre-season practice on Monday and joined Max Allegri's group. Juventus had been expecting to keep their talisman for the next season, but AS reports, through Corriere dello Sport, that the five-time Golden boot winner desires out.

He wants to work with Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid again in the Spanish capital, and PSG is a possible suitor this season.

According to reports, Kylian Mbappe's destiny might determine Ronaldo's next position. If the Frenchman joins Real, Ronaldo will be able to start a new chapter in his career in Paris.

However, with a deal for Mbappe proving tough to come by, his continued presence at the Parc des Princes may encourage Real to make a move for their all-time leading scorer and put him back to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo entered Real in 2009 for a world-record £80 million deal from Manchester United, and went on to achieve 450 goals in 438 matches, setting a new record.

He completed a surprising £99 million deal to Juventus in 2018 after winning his fourth Champions League trophy.

Ronaldo has scored 101 goals in 133 matches for Juventus and has won two Serie A titles during his time in Turin.

Juventus' supremacy in Italy came to an end last season, as they placed fourth, 13 points behind Scudetto champions Inter Milan.
