Six-Time Ballon d'Or Winner Lionel Messi's Monstrous PSG Salary Has Been Revealed

Messi is reportedly expected to make €40 million after taxes at Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.

La Liga refused to consider a new five-year deal Messi had negotiated with the club, and now he's set to take on a new challenge in Paris, according to reports.

Despite accepting a big pay cut at Barca, L'Equipe reports that the six-time Ballon d'Or winner would be paid a huge sum at the Parc Des Princes.

Messi is reportedly being given a two-year deal with a one-year extension option.

If the stats are right, the 34-year-old would be paid €769,000 each week and may earn €120 million in total - and that's before performance-related incentives or a signing-on fee are taken into account.

According to RMC, Messi's ex Barca teammate Neymar has promised to give his close buddy the No.10 shirt when he joins the club.

Messi, on the other hand, is thought to have declined the Brazilian's offer, and the newest news is that he might instead wear the No.19 jersey in Paris.

The Argentine has worn the number 19 for Argentina from his early days, and it was also Messi's second official shirt number at Barcelona before he took up the No.10 after Ronaldinho left.

PSG signed Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Gini Wijnaldum on free transfers, as well as Achraf Hakimi for £54 million, to round up a spate of stunning incomings.
