PSG Has Placed Ten Players On The Transfer List In Order To Fund Lionel Messi's Mega-Transfer

Due to the impending acquisition of Lionel Messi, Paris Saint-Germain has made 10 athletes available for transfer or loan this season.

Following the announcement that he would be leaving Barcelona, the French giants reacted quickly and now appear to be on the verge of completing a stunning deal for the 6 times Ballon d'Or winner in the near future.

Messi is ready to commit a two-year deal with the choice of a third in Paris.

As per The Athletic, he will get a £21 million compensation package and will be paid the same amount each year while in Paris.

PSG has the financial means to complete the transaction, and they hope to generate a lot of money from commercial partnerships and jersey sales after the signing, but they'll have to cut their salary cost.

As a result, a number of first-team players are reportedly on the transfer list.

PSG are willing to listen to offers for Abdou Diallo, Thilo Kehrer, Idrissa Gueye, and Rafinha, and they may even allow Mauro Icardi and Ander Herrera escape notwithstanding their desire to stay.

Even though Kylian Mbappe's future is questionable because his contract ends after this year, PSG is hoping that the signing of Messi will persuade him to continue.

Messi's entrance brings to a close a spectacular transfer window for PSG, which included a lot of free moves.

Apart from Messi, the team also signed Sergio Ramos, Gini Wijnaldum, and Gianluigi Donnarumma on a free transfer when their current club' contracts expired.

They also spent £14 million to Porto to make Danilo Pereira's loan transfer genuine, and bought Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan for roughly £54 million.

However, Messi has revealed that PSG teammates attempted to touch him up during a recent vacation in Ibiza after the Copa America victory.

'We met 1 day in Ibiza,' Messi said. 'We became friends after that.'

"Would you like to see me?" Ney said when he phoned. We posted the image at the point because we had been a wonderful time and they were urging me, 'Come to Paris, come to Paris,' which was a prank at the time.
