Lionel Messi Broke Down With Tears In Front Of The Argentine People As He Celebrates Copa America Victory

After the amazing hat-trick versus Bolivia, Lionel Messi started to cry as he embraced the Copa America victory in front of his home people.

Argentina defeated Bolivia 3-0 in a World Cup qualifier on Friday, with Messi leading the way.

He got a wonderful goal during the 1st-half before completing his hat-trick with a brace in the second half.

And Messi's highlight of the day came after his heroics on the ground.

After his squad defeated Bolivia, the Six-time Ballon d'or Winner and his international colleagues paraded the trophy next to Argentine crowds to celebrate their summer success.

And it became too much for the PSG icon, who broke into tears in a series of heartbreaking sequences.

It just goes to show how important Argentina is to him. What a scene.

In an interview after his outstanding performance for his nation, he stated: "There was no greater way to commemorate the occasion than to be present.

My mother is with me and my family members are also among the crowd. Since they've suffered too much and they're finally rejoicing.

"I am overjoyed."

Lionel had seen Argentina's misery in the 2014 World Cup final, as well as 2 Copa America final failures to Chile.

He talked about how happy he was to have finally won an international title.

"I have the comfort of achieving the desire that has been forbidden to me various times," the six-time Ballon d'Or winner remarked.

"That was like a dream, a breathtaking experience." It was impossible for me to realize what I was seeing. I love watching the photos now more than I did when I was dazed.

Messi also celebrated the occasion with a heartfelt social media post.

He posted on Instagram: «I had a lot of dreams about today and it arrived, thanks god. I don't have words to express my gratitude to everyone who has shown me so much kindness. What a lovely night; I truly liked it. Memorable."
