Manchester United Star Player Considering To Leave Next Summer, Newcastle Could Sign Him

Manchester United may lose a vital player of their team next summer, with Newcastle United keen in recruiting him following their takeover.

A host of Manchester United players have been connected with moves away from the club, including Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek.

Van de Beek, in instance, has barely played under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and the Dutchman is looking for a move to get more playing time.

Dean Henderson, who has performed 2nd fiddle to David De Gea thus far this campaign, is in the same boat.

As per the Daily Mail, the English goalkeeper intends to leave at the completion of the season if he is unable to restore his No. 1 status.

Henderson contested for the goalkeeping role with De Gea recent season, appearing in 26 matches across all competitions.

However, due to a hip injury that prompted him to drop from England's Euro 2020 team and having Covid-19 in the summer, he has only played one cup game this season.

De Gea has restored himself as the team's No.1 goalkeeper, with Henderson believed to be considering his future, and Newcastle rumored to be interested.

The 24-year-old would love to continue at Old Trafford, where he has 4 1/2 years left on his present contract.

According to the source, he is concerned that his career is on the verge of stagnation after making only one game this season.

He is considering a January transfer, but the club is unlikely to let him depart in the middle of the season.

Henderson spent 2 seasons at Sheffield United, where he built on his reputation after a standout season in England's top division.

Will he restore his No. 1 position at Manchester United? Keep an eye on this.
