Wolves Striker Raul Jimenez Received Two Yellow Cards In Just 48 Seconds Against Manchester City Match

The Wolves player Raul Jimenez was given one of the avoidable red cards in recent match played with Manchester City on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium.

It happened the first time in the Premier League match, the Mexican was sent off at the close of the 1st-half after receiving 2 yellow cards in the space of 48 seconds.

The first came for a cynical foul on Rodri in the centre of the pitch, and VAR Jon Moss gave Jimenez a 2nd yellow card and then a red for obstructing the following free-kick from being taken.

He was standing next to Rodri as he attempted to resume play and stooped to take out a leg.

Jimenez took his time walking off the pitch, dropped his gloves on the grass in anger way before thanking the travelling Wolves fans.
Because of a frightening clash of heads between Wolves duo Max Kilman and Ruben Neves at the end of the initial period, 7 minutes were tacked on.

The score was level at halftime, but 10-man Wolves were defeated 1-0 by Raheem Sterling's second-half penalty goal.

Joao Moutinho was punished for holding the ball in the field, and the verdict was upheld after a VAR review, with Sterling sliding the ball down the center.
