The Italian Football Association (AIC) has formally chosen to rename the trophy after Rossi, who had become a main player in Italy's 1982 World Cup win. In 1980s, Juventus legend was also a key performer throughout the historic period. Rossi achieved 20 goals for Italy in 48 games and 43 goals for Juventus in 137 appearances.
The Italian, however, died in December 2020 at the age of sixty four years. The top scorer award has been renamed the Paolo Rossi award to honour his achievements by AIC.

Cristiano Ronaldo may make a comeback for Juventus Vs Barcelona
Only a few weeks ago, Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Juventus' pre-season training camp. After competing for Portugal at Euro 2020, the 36-year-old striker was given an extended vacation by the club.
Ronaldo may comeback to first-team action when the Bianconeri take on Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy as stated by the new manager Massimiliano Allegri. Before the Blaugrana friendly, Paulo Dybala is also expected to make a comeback to the team. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said:
“Like everyone else, Ronaldo arrived with more enthusiasm. Dybala's left foot, which is the stronger, has a muscle issue. He, along with everyone else who should arrive on Monday, should be at our disposal against Barcelona. We'll have Twenty days to ready for the game at that point.”
After Massimiliano Allegri's return, Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking for a much stronger season. Last season, Juventus narrowly qualified for the Champions League, prompting the sacking of Andrea Pirlo, the club's longtime midfield commander.
Pavel Nedved has talked about Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Juventus, saying that the club is very happy to keep him this summer.https://t.co/Jw6hmqrjvZ

The status of Ronaldo's contract is also being debated at the moment. The Juventus contract of the Portuguese captain has only one year left on it. Several European titans, including PSG and Manchester United, have expressed interest in recruiting him.
