Declan Rice Is Upset With The Price Tag West Ham Has Set On Him

Declan Rice has no intention to sign a new contract at West Ham and is thought to be displeased with the club's £100 million assessment of him, thus pricing him out of the market.

Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea have all been associated with the central defender, who sparkled for England at Euro 2020.

Hammers manager David Moyes earlier stated that it might take 'bank of England' funds for the east London club to part with Rice.

Nonetheless, the Irons are eager to extend the contract to a fresh long-term contract.

Any deal discussions, though, are expected to be limited, with The Telegraph saying that Rice is unhappy with the transfer fee West Ham has imposed on him in order to deter possible suitors.

According to the report, Rice has so far declined 2 new contract offers from West Ham, both of which featured considerable wage hikes.

He might potentially exhaust his current contract, which has 3 years left on it, and compel West Ham to decrease their transfer fee.

Although the Irons qualified for the Europa League, they did not even make a significant deal this summer,  which bothers Rice, who wants to compete for championships.

Although, only Alphonse Areola (Goalkeeper) who recently joined on loan from PSG is arrived to the London Stadium.

The Hammers, on the other hand, might try to re-sign Jesse Lingard on loan from Manchester United after his excellent stay last season, which would please Rice.

Rice entered West Ham after becoming freed by Chelsea in 2014, and he moved up the ranks to reach nearly 150 first-team matches.

In the absence of Mark Noble, the 22 year old who is the closest friend with England teammate and Chelsea player Mason Mount, is only the first choice at West Ham to wear the Captain's Armband tag at West Ham.
