Alan Shearer Says One Major Signing Will Determine The Title Race, And It Isn't Harry Kane's

Alan Shearer thinks that if Harry Kane leaves for Manchester City this season, the title race would remain intense.

Kane, who has been pursued by Manchester City all season, wants to join the Premier League champions because he thinks his current side Tottenham Hotspur are unable to meet his aspirations.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, on the other hand, has set a maximum price for the England legend that Manchester City is unwilling to fulfil at the time.

Many commentators have predicted that this transfer will turn the Premier League into an another contest, with City likely to romp away with the title, but Shearer is not convinced.

Chelsea had everything but a goalscorer last summer, and there were far too many occasions when they had chances but failed to convert them.

Lukaku, on the other hand, modifies this since everyone believe he will perform goals.. He promises a lot of them, which is why they went to such lengths to find him and were ready to spend so much money to take him back to Stamford Bridge."

Shearer underlined how important the timeline of Lukaku's transfer is, and also how he could be the trigger for Chelsea to establish on their European victory from previous season's. He'll become a significant deal for them. To put it simply, he has the potential to make the distinction amongst them becoming champions and not. That demonstrates how significant he is.

While Shearer have spoken about City and Chelsea's signings, he also mentioned a few of the deals done by Manchester United and Liverpool during this transfer window.

Manchester United struggled for stability last summer, but they have had the strongest transfer window since then, signing in France defender Raphael Varane and youngster Jadon Sancho, a very promising player. They could even be able to enlist the help of anyone else.

Liverpool just acquired RB Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konate this season, but following their defensive woes in recent months, they are now quite well prepared in that aspect.. It was a pure coincidence that they also had several injuries in that one section.
