Richard Keys, a commentator and presenter, has slammed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's judgment to not give new transfer Raphael Varane the 4th shirt in a stinging blog article.
After being requested by four-time Champions League hero Varane, Manchester United centre-back Phil Jones apparently refused to leave his 4th squad number weeks ago.
The 28-year-old, who was revealed in front of a sold-out Old Trafford crowd on Saturday having finishing a £43 million transfer, will now wear the number 19 shirt.
The story gained a lot of popularity on social networking sites, and Keys is the most recent person to weigh in.

It was really fantastic to see Manchester doing somewhat they did great, he added. Without permitting Ayling to move off him & make align, Pogba was wonderful. Nobody will be capable to take his pass to greenwood this time.
Only one more minor issue that may emerge: if Varane chooses to wear the Number 4 shirt, as we're informed he likes, so he should be handed the shirt," Keys continued. "Solskjaer should've said Phil Jones, "Select whatever number beyond 30." There is nothing I can do for you. You're not going to participate.
This is what I'm talking about when I think it could evolve. He must be more harsh.

Jones, who's never appeared in a first-team match in 19 months, is likely to comeback in the upcoming days, according to Solskjaer, who just given an information on his present status.
He is prepared to start training on holidays since we have everyone in on Monday, which is a huge benefit for him,” Ole announced at the end of last month.

Phil Jones hasn't played for nearly 19 months, but that didn't stop him from refusing to hand over his Manchester United squad number to Raphael Varane 👀
He was even asked by the new man... but still said no 😬https://t.co/CCc8StH7Si
I've encountered comparable issues in my professional career. He's wow what a perfectionist and a lovely guy, and it's wonderful to see him fit to practice again. Lets hope, he'll be able to practice with us first rather than receive play time shortly.
Whether he can perform in the Under-23s to begin with, or if we would plan anything behind secrecy for him, that would be fantastic, since I know how it feels to be out there for so much. You would just like to swing it.
Every time he helped the club, although it was imperative for him to check his own health, and now he's fit to exercise with us.
