Cristiano Ronaldo 'Offers Himself' To Man City As A Harry Kane Replacement

As per shocking rumours in Italy, Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo may move to the Premier League this season and sign bitter rivals Manchester City.

The Juventus star's £25.5 million-per-year agreement has only 10 months left on it, and his career in Turin is questionable.

But now, in a weird set of circumstances, Ronaldo's advisor Jorge Mendes has apparently offered the Portuguese sensation to United's obnoxious neighbors.

According to the source, Juventus would indeed be ready to trade Ronaldo to City for £25 million, with the club wanting to remove him off their payroll.

As per Corriere dello Sport, who reports that the thirty Six year old will play in Manchester's blue half this summer.

Pep Guardiola's team has been disappointed in their efforts to acquire Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, with their lack of available firepower up front clear in Sunday's 1-0 loss to Spurs.

City are set to strengthen on their £100 million proposal that was refused earlier this season, however the north London club is being tough on their £150 million asking price.

Ronaldo, unlike Kane, would enter with the possibility of scores, having finished the previous season as Serie A's leading scorer with 29 goals.

Within only 133 games throughout all competitions over his 3-years at Juventus, Ronaldo has scored 101 goals.

However, a move to the Etihad Stadium would quite surely ruin Ronaldo's legendary reputation in Manchester, which he now holds at Old Trafford.

On the surface, a switch to the Etihad could appear to be a treachery, especially given Ronaldo's long association with United supporters, but weirder things have happened, correct?
