Lionel Messi's Used Tissue Paper From His Barcelona's Farewell Goes On Sale For $1 Million

Whether it's old Barcelona shirts or shiny new PSG uniforms, Lionel Messi memorabilia is going through the market right now.

However, it appears that single piece of mementos in specific has grabbed everyone's attention.

When Messi couldn't stop his tears at his goodbye speech, revealing his emotions about quitting the Barcelona club after such a successful 21-year career, his spouse Antonella handed him a tissue paper to swipe them off.

The tissue that Lionel Messi was using to wipe tears from his eyes during his tearful Farewell Press Conference at FC Barcelona is reported to be on the sale for an eye-watering $1 million.

That's true, a soaked old tissue.

The odd (and quite filthy) thing is now been advertised for a small fortune by a smart man on a global auction website Meikeduo.

According to Complete Sports, an unknown guy was sat at the front row of the farewell conference and managed to collect the tissue that Messi had thrown away after wiping his eyes.

The person apparently wasn't mucking when he put a $1 million asking price on the wasted tissue, claiming that "it comprises Messi's genetic material" which would let you to clone another footballer like Lionel Messi — yeah, really.

The ad appears to be still active, and no one is ready to put their hands in their bag - surprise?

PSG has already sold up to a million Lionel Messi shirts in their shops and online within a week since the Argentine superstar joined with the club.

Each Messi shirt costs from €115 and €165, and if the pricing are to be trusted, the Argentinian's shirts have already brought in $100 million for PSG in about 3 days.
