UEFA Player of the Year Title Was Leaked Prior To The Official Release

The UEFA Title winner has been LEAKED prior to the official announcement on Thursday.

Chelsea central defenders N'Golo Kante and Jorginho are connected on the UEFA Players of the Year nomination by Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne.

Meanwhile, as per a leaked source, Jorginho shall be named UEFA's Star of the Year, beating out Kante and De Bruyne.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, sources close to the Union of European Football Associations have assured them that the 29-year-old will be announced the victor at Thursday's Champions League selection in Turkey.

Previous season, the Chelsea and Italy star shone for the Blues, guiding them to a Champions League triumph.

He notably played a key role for Italy, which won Euro 2020 on penalties after defeating England.

Jorginho will be rewarded for his outstanding performances for club and country by being named UEFA Star of the Year, and taking the individual award will put him in strong position to win the prized Ballon d'Or this year.

And thus the ex Napoli player believes he has a good chance of winning the prize if it is based on titles, claiming nobody has achieved more than him.

"We live for dreams," he explained to SportTV.

However, to be honest, it is based on the factors used to assign it.

I'm quite aware that I'm not the greatest at all; regarding talent.
