Cristiano Ronaldo Has Been Slammed For Placing Juventus In A "Troubled Situation"

Cristiano Ronaldo has been chastised for placing Juventus in a "tough position" and for not showing "greater respect" to the Serie A club as expects from him.

As per Juventus superstars Alessio Tacchinardi and Sergio Brio, who both slammed Ronaldo for his big comeback to Manchester United.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri stated it was his choice to leave Cristiano on the bench in his team's 2-2 tie with Udinese in their Serie A debut previous month.

After a summer of rumours regarding Ronaldo's career, the 54-year-old Italian eventually acknowledged that the 36-year-old had "No interest to continue at Juventus.

Ronaldo, whose contract with Juventus ended in 2022, exited Turin and finalized a sensational £12.9 million move to Manchester on closing day.

Tacchinardi, on the other hand, has claimed that the Five-Time Ballon d'or Winner Portuguese forward's late-summer leave made it "difficult" for Juventus to substitute a "goal machine like ronaldo."

“I thought there would be a press conference to say farewell to the followers. They deserved to be treated differently.

There are no more superstars likes [Alessandro] Del Piero, [Javier] Zanetti, [Paolo] Maldin and [Francesco] Totti, although it was disappointing to hear Cristiano say he was returning to a place he feels as home.

"He place Juventus in a tight position by leaving just a few days prior the expiry of the transfer window, making it hard to replicate a goal machine like him".

Cristiano, who joined Juventus in 2018 after leaving Real Madrid, won back-to-back Serie A trophies, 2 Italian Super Cups and the Coppa Italia while his stint with the Old Lady.

Although Juventus unable to sustain the Serie A title, the Portuguese captain finished last season by winning the Capocannoniere (highest scorer) trophy ahead of Romelu Lukaku.

Brio had similar feelings to Tacchinardi about Ronaldo's early departure from Juventus, stating it was "not good" of the Manchester star to leave the club in such a way.

He went on to say, Juventus deserve more respect; I can't imagine Cristiano to disrespect the club in this way." It was unpleasant of him.

I usually appreciate the 3 clubs where I performed: Juventus, pistoiese and Lecce, for signing me and believing in me. Ronaldo is a fantastic athlete, however his goodbye should have been dissimilar.

Possibly they did not part gently, and I am confident it was the best decision for both the footballer and the club. If a star is forced to continue, he may bring harm to his colleagues as well as the club.
