Cristiano Ronaldo Sends Public Demand Of Teammates After Aston Villa Defeat, He Is Not Messing Around

Cristiano Ronaldo has urged his Man Utd colleagues to 'react quickly' following yesterday's heartbreaking late loss to Aston Villa.

The visitors took all 3 points thanks to a late Kourtney Hause header and a missed penalty by Bruno Fernandes, leaving the hosts' new no.7 dissatisfied with what he watched.

"This is just the starting," stated the 36-year-old. However, in a contest as difficult as the Premier League, a single point matters. We must act quickly, come back on our feet, and prove our real strength.

This is Cristiano's second unexpected defeat since coming back to Old Trafford. When Mike Dean noted to the mark yesterday, he might have been The Red Devils' saviour, and though his colleague Fernandes accepted responsibility and blasted it into the Stretford End, for which he has since regretted.

The result has cast further doubt on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjr, who believes his team should have secured at minimum a point from the match because Villa striker Ollie Watkins was outside when Hause scored.

When there is a nice goal against you, you can grab it "The Norwegian spoke to BBC Sport. "But that's not right. Watkins comes into contact with David (de Gea) as Hause heads the football... I just don't see the continuity.

"It's concerning when you lose matches."

The defeat marks United's first of the Premier League season, and it drops them to fourth position, one point back leaders Liverpool.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his mates will face Villareal in the Champions League on coming Wednesday night. This is the first time the both clubs have played since the Europa League Final earlier this year, and Solskjr has assured his players 'will be prepared' for the match.
