Leo Messi Is Reportedly Playing A Significant Role In A PSG Player Not Starting; He Is Very Displeased

Gianluigi Donnarumma is apparently upset at PSG, with one shocking rumour alleging Lionel Messi is keeping him out of the team.
Donnarumma came as a free agent from AC Milan in the summer after Italy won Euro 2020.

Nevertheless, he has just started two of PSG's 10 matches this season and has fallen behind Keylor Navas.

Donnarumma has been kept out of the squad by a significant presence of South American footballers, as per Il Corriere della Sera via Football Italia.

Lionel, Angel Di Maria, Keylor Navas, Marquinhos, and Neymar are said to be ardent fans of the seasoned Navas.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino is defined as a 'equilibrist,' making decisions based on the wishes of his players.

Few clubs have the depth in goal that PSG does, with Navas a 3 times Champions League champion.

Pochettino has acknowledged that he selects his goalkeeper dependent on the match and does not have a definite number one at the moment.

"We had a really excellent match today," he stated after Saturday's 2-0 success against Montpellier, which Navas began. We had a great team. I am quite pleased with the youngsters' performance. We had several opportunities to win the game, and we did not. Never once did I suffer.

Goalkeeper dualism? I've often said, and I have to say it again. I select whether Navas & Donnarumma shall perform before each game.

But, Donnarumma is already been linked with a return to Italy.

The 22-year-old has reportedly piqued the interest of Juventus, who are looking to revamp their team.

Another problem Pochettino might have to deal with is the simmering rivalry among Neymar & Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe was seen moaning to Idrissa Gueye about the Brazilian, who has since assisted Julian Draxler, in photos from Saturday's triumph.

"He (Neymar) doesn't really provide me the pass," Kylian Mbappe said RMC Sport.
