A Liverpool Star and a Portuguese professional footballer Diogo Jota had to withdraw from a FIFA 22 international qualifier Saturday afternoon in order to participate in the Premier League for Liverpool against Southampton at Anfield.
The Portuguese forward scored twice in the 1st half in Liverpool's 4-0 win over Southampton, bringing his Premier League goal count this season to seven.
Jota is presently in good form, and it's difficult to see how Roberto Firmino will reclaim his place in Jurgen Klopp's starting lineup when he comes back from injury.
Jota is a skilled gamer who secured the inaugural ePremier League invitational tournament in April 2020, defeating current colleague Trent Alexander-Arnold in the final.

It was the most viable reason, given Jota's busy schedule as a professional player for one of the league's top clubs.
Even though he didn't have to continue doing business with the controller, Jota excelled in the 3 p.m. kick-off on Merseyside, scoring a first-half brace.
He celebrated his 1st goal, which came after only 97 seconds, by sitting on the ground and impersonating himself playing on his PlayStation.
