The 63-year-old, who is presently the head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow, is set to sign a 6 month contract as temporary manager of Manchester United following the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Rangnick, often regarded as 'the Godfather' will bring his personal thoughts and philosophy to the board.

Ralf Rangnick also considered to pick Haidara from his previous team in coming January, as per The Mirror.
MancUnited are eager for a new central midfielder, and the 23-year-old is a man Rangnick views in high regard.

He took Haidara to Germany in a £17 m deal while working as sporting director for both RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg.

Haidara had a successful season for the German team last season, appearing in 43 games and scoring 6 goals in all competitions.

The Mali international's agreement has a £33 m release fee, and he has previously stated that he "dreams" of playing for Manchester Utd at some time in his career.

Rangnick has been acknowledged as having a significant impact on coaches such as Jurgen Klopp, Ralph Hasenhüttl, Thomas Tuchel, and Julian Nagelsmann.

And, upon his entrance, he plans to introduce a one-of-a-kind and tough training drill to MancUnited.

Rangnick developed the "countdown clock" technique at former clubs, which is a challenging workout in which players must gain possession of the ball within 8 seconds of losing it.

Next, to take it a step further, they must make a change on goal in 10 seconds.

A big clock will be displayed and will be ticking to increase the pressure on the players.

He also utilized a spinning wheel to determine on punishments for individuals who broke Leipzig's legislation and norms.
