Fan Mocked Cristiano Ronaldo After His New Record, And Gary Lineker Shuts Down The Fan

Cristiano Ronaldo looks to be surpassing one incredible record after another these days, attracting praise from fans, coaches, commentators, and players alike.

However, one follower was not as thrilled about Ronaldo's accomplishments, tweeted "Tapinaldo and a Penaldo" in reaction to Gary Lineker's gushing adulation for the Portuguese legend.

In a passionate defence of Man Utd player, the England icon was eager to openly name and condemn the supporter.

He remarked: That's as silly as it is arrogant. @Cristiano is undeniably one of the best footballers in the sport's history.

With a double in United's 3-2 victory against Arsenal on Thursday, Cristiano scored 801 career goals for club and country.

He is the only player in history to have scored top-level goals, adding to his record of becoming the all-time leading scorer in men's international football, the Champions League, and for Real Madrid.

The Portugal Star shows no signs of slowing down, having pulled Manchester Utd out of trouble yet again with a magnificent performance against the Arsenal.

His total of 801 goals in 1,097 appearances is simply incredible for a modern-day superstar.

In Michael Carrick's final match as caretaker manager, the Red Devils moved up to 7th position and within 3 points of 4th place West Ham United.

Ralf Rangnick has taken Carrick's spot in the dugout and congratulated Ronaldo in his first press conference at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo and Manchester Utd will now switch their attention to Sunday's game against Crystal Palace, planning to win back-to-back Premier League matches for only the second time this season.
