Lionel Messi is being booed by PSG fans ahead of today's match against Bordeaux, and his name is also being booed during the squad announcements.

Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain last summer from Barcelona, but he is unable to hit the world-class level that we all know he is capable of.
The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner began in PSG's 3-1 loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday, which knocked them out of the Champions League.

PSG supporters are enraged with a few players, the most prominent of which are Neymar JR and Messi. Their names were booed when walked out at the Parc des Princes.
PSG star Mbappe scored on Wednesday, was the only one of the front 3 who received appreciations.
Despite not having played in midweek, Georginio Wijnaldum was also booed.
Fans have responded to the horrifying footage, saying it's a shame Messi's time is coming to an end in this manner.

Kylian Mbappe gave Paris Saint-Germain the lead within 24 minutes, and curiously, it was Wijnaldum who provided the assist.
It was PSG's only attempt on goal in the first half, and Bordeaux, who are bottom of Ligue 1 with only 4 wins this season, are doing an amazing job of suppressing attacks.
