New Footage Reveals That Bukayo Saka Was Impervious To Scott McTominay's Mind Games

Bukayo Saka proved elite levels of calmness by slotting home a penalty versus Man Utd on Saturday, despite Scott McTominay's best efforts.

Saka earned his 2nd penalty against Manchester United on Saturday, as Alex Telles tripped the English forward in the zone.

Just days ago, the 20-year-old had goal from twelve yards out as Arsenal surprisingly won the game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Those 2 goals proved that Saka had no hangover from his penalty miss in the Euro 2020 finale past summer, and they provided more evidence of his mental fortitude prior to his goal against Manchester United.
Prior to the penalty kick, unseen footage revealed McTominay attempting to play mind games with his competitor by putting the ball out of his hands prior taking it, but it clearly did not work.
McTominay, who was candid in his appraisal of the team following the loss, was only 3 games back from an injury to debut facing Mikel Arteta's side, and things didn't go well for him and his colleagues.
After 3 minutes of comical defending, Nuno Tavares scored, and Eddie Nketiah appeared to have increased the lead shortly past the half-hour line.
That goal was called out for offside, however VAR picked up on Telles' foul on Saka, resulting in the forward netting his penalty.

Cristiano Ronaldo's strike 2 minutes later put Manchester Utd back in the game, and when Bruno Fernandes came up and took a penalty in the 2nd half, the game appeared to be equal.

The Portugal forward's attempt was blocked, raising doubts about why Ronaldo wasn't shooting it, and Granit Xhaka's drive from outside the box effectively terminated the game as a contest.
