Free-Kick Experts Ranking From 'GOAT' To 'Not A Player'

Juninho Pernambucano, a former Lyon star, has been rated the best free-kick expert of all time, defeating Lionel Messi and David Beckham to the top position.

TierMaker has been used by CornerKicks to rate the greatest modern free kick strikers, and the Brazilian player came out on the top spot.

With Seventy-five free-kick goals, the footballer who quit in 2013 owns the world record.

David Beckham, Andrea Pirlo, Sinisa Mihajlovic, and Lionel Messi are his biggest 'World Class' competitors, who have all frequently made free-kick triumphs.

Juan Mata and Seb Larsson (who has Eleven Premier League free kicks in the last fifteen years) are both in the 'Under-rated' group. They are accompanied by Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry, are so brilliant in other aspects but their free kick skill is often ignored.

While arguable, it's easy to disregard Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo as "overrated." CR7 has a few international goals to his name, most notably for Manchester United and Portugal.

However, his conversation rate has always been among the lowest in Europe, and full-back Roberto Carlos, who scored that incredible free-kick over France, was sometimes more dangerous to walls and spectators than goal nets.

They are joined by England's great era, Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney. Harsh? Possibly, but after playing roughly 500 matches each, they only netted 7 Premier League free kicks.

Didier Drogba and Gareth Bale may be frustrated that they are in the 'Good' Tier, but both have made amazing free kicks despite not having the overwhelming volume of the absolute best.

Mario Balotelli has given an unambiguous 'Bad' rating because, as often as we like him, and he has never been dependable when he places the football.

However, Junior Stanislas has only netted 1 Premier League free kick even had many chances (he attempted 9 in 2018/19 and no scoring).

Regrettably, Robert Huth is in the bottom tier. The guy has been a fantastic DEFENDER, but his performance against Stoke was possibly bad we've ever seen. He appears to have never kicked a ball ever.
