Leeds United Beat Chelsea 3-0 To Reach Second Place In The Premier League Rankings

Leeds United extended their unbeaten start to the season by defeating Chelsea 3-0 at Elland Road.

Jesse Marsch's side is still unbeaten in their first 3 Premier League games after picking up three crucial points on Sunday.

They defeated their old opponents to earn their second home victory of the season.

Leeds took the lead in amusing way as Brenden Aaronson pounced on an Edouard Mendy error.

After evading the goalie, he tapped home from close distance.
Rodrigo boosted his team's lead with a spectacular header into the net off a fantastic Jack Harrison free-kick.

The Spaniard has already scored 4 goals in 3 games, continuing his strong start to the new season.

Harrison finally put himself on the scoreboard after putting the ball in from close distance in the 2nd half.
The Blues' night became even worst as Kalidou Koulibaly was sent off late in the game after receiving his 2nd yellow card.

Leeds United now sit 2nd in the Premier League table, tied on points with Tottenham.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have lost points for the 2nd game in a row following their 2-2 draw versus Spurs last weekend.

At this moment, Thomas Tuchel's team is now in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
