After breaking the record for most international matches, Al-Nassr rewarded star player Cristiano Ronaldo with a special cake.
When Portugal played Liechtenstein in their opening encounter of the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, the five-time balloon d'or winner overtook Kuwait's Bader Al-Mutawa's total of 196 international games. Al Nassr presented a special cake with Ronaldo pictures on it in honour of Ronaldo to celebrate the achievement.

The Wider Context: Portugal kicked off their qualifying campaign by scoring 10 goals in 2 games against Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
The 38-year old Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in each game, giving him a total of 122 goals for his country in 198 appearances.
In terms of his Saudi Arabian career to date, Ronaldo has scored 9 goals in ten games since joining Al-Nassr.

The former Manchester United attacker will be back in action on April 5 when Al-Nassr face Al-Adalah in a Saudi Pro League match.
