The World's Football Top 10 Central Midfielders Are Revealed, N'Golo Kante Is Just Ranks Seventh


N'Golo Kante, a Chelsea midfielder, is surprisingly ranked behind clubmate Jorginho among the top ten finest central midfielders in the world football game right now.

Previous season, the 30-year-old French midfielder played a key role in Chelsea's Champions League success.

Kante appeared in 13 games for Chelsea in Europe's best club tournament, having scored 4 times & assisted when on way to the final in Portugal.

In the Champions League, the France international produced to Chelsea's 9 clean sheets and 4 Star of the Match titles.

Kante's performances last season have brought him comparisons to Jorginho and Lionel Messi as probable competitors for Ballon d'Or award in 2021.

The 2018 World Cup winner was ranked seventh by FourFourTwo, who called him the "greatest ball-winner" in futbol.

According to the publication, Kante is a "workhorse" who is "underappreciated in regards of what he can accomplish on the ball."
