It would have to be a complete nightmare to attempt and defend against Five-time Ballon D'Or Winner Cristiano Ronaldo.

For being almost 37 years old, the Portuguese legend is still one of the finest at the elite level of the game.

Ronaldo is lightning-fast, as powerful as an ox, and can jump almost as high as a basketball athlete to head the ball into the goal.

And, in addition to being a great athlete to be coveted all over the world, the Manchester United hero possesses exceptional footballing intelligence.

Ronaldo's amazing ability to locate space and mislead defenders close to the goal is a big reason he's scored over 800 goals in his professional career.

The Portugal star frequently waits until the last moment to make his attack, that means opposing teams are unable to recover quickly and stop him from scoring.

He's just so, so talented.

Obviously, Ronaldo's excellence at the top of the pitch can only come if one of the midfield players finds him with a pass suitable of his off-the-ball movement.

The frequent goal-scorer profited greatly from those around him at Real Madrid. Angel Di Maria, Toni Kroos, Xabi Alons, Luka Modric, and Mesut Ozil were all adept at getting the ball to him at the right time.

Ronaldo has not received the same degree of support from Manchester United's midfielders and wingers during 2021/22.

Despite this, he has scored a lot of goals.

Ronaldo has recorded 14 goals in 24 appearances throughout all competitions, with 6 of them coming in only 5 Champions League outings.

Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah seems to be the only Premier League player with more goals in 2021 - 22, with the Liverpool winger scoring 23 in 26 appearances.

Ronaldo hasn't lost his touch, that's for sure.
